REYKA VODKA

Between the glacial spring water, lava rock filtration, and elf-run distillery, Reyka Vodka isn’t just made in Iceland, it’s made of Iceland. So when we wanted to introduce ourselves to cities around world, we had to do so in a distinctly Icelandic way. No one could do it better than our magnificently bearded Icelandic spokesperson, Fridrik Ingvar Ingimundarson…who we found on Craigslist and not in Iceland. Don’t tell.

2018 WORLD CUP

When the U.S. soccer team didn’t make it into 2018’s World Cup, American fans found themselves without a team to root for. Reyka Vodka had a different red, white, & blue team in mind. Can’t cheer for the U.S.A.? Join Team Iceland! To rally American soccer fans around the Icelandic underdogs, we hosted viewing parties around the country, created a line of “U.S.A. for Iceland” swag, and provoked a
bit of friendly competition across the web.

Iceland did not win the World Cup. Thankfully, they have other cups.

After some fun Twitter Banter, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt, pledged his allegiance to Team Iceland and repped some custom Reyka gear on TV.

ADOPT A PUFFIN

If you don’t think puffins are adorable, you’re wrong. Sadly, these little guys are near endangered in Iceland. Since Reyka Vodka is proudly Icelandic, we had to do our part in saving our most good-looking citizens. So we partnered with the Audubon Society to save puffins with Vodka.

@REYKA_VODKA

Sometimes, I do some concepting and copywriting for the Reyka Vodka socials. I never once drank a cocktail while doing so.
